I want to say Cobain and Williams because I’ve heard most suicide survivors regret their decision (please correct me if that’s inaccurate), but Farley.....oh man maybe him and I could figure out a way to bring John Candy back.

I don’t know if people regret it, but I have seen studies referenced saying that if you can delay someone’s attempt, even briefly, they often reconsider.

That said, I'm right there with you on those two. One of my best friends and I will randomly text each other Hedberg jokes. Sometimes with months in between them.

Yep, was reading a lot about this stuff after there was a spate of suicides at Cornell when I was in Ithaca. They put fencing on the bridges as a temporary measure, which seemed a bit oppressive, and intuitively pretty useless, since people could just walk a very short distance and jump into the gorges from nearby cliffs, but people far more knowledgeable than me seemed pretty convinced that even putting up a small hindrance would be sufficient to let most people rethink their decision.

Brittany Murphy died from pneumonia , Paul Walker and Kob e Bryant both died in accidents and you can’t really be sure the overdoses were intentional.

I mean, if we can bring back celebrities why not “regular” people? Or are celebrities worth more? I mean why cant I choose to bring back my buddy Kevin who died of a sudden stroke at 42 and left behind a 9 year old son. Or how about Qin and David who got blown up in Iraq?
Maybe its wrong to circumvent the natural cycle of life and death because it inherently v alues one life over another. I mean, aren’ t we currently marching and protesting over the inequality of the value of certain human lives right now?

I remember being shook by the death of Brittany Murphy. I cannot explain why. I was upset. I just recall it hitting me in a way that didn’t make sense for knowing of a person, but not actually having any sort of relationship with them. it was weird.
Hedberg and Williams would be at the top of my list. I was also looking forward to post-NBA Kobe. And what is F&F without Brian OConnor?

The only person I recognize in those pics is Robin Williams... I would love to have him back. But... there would be problems.
If you brought back someone who killed themselves (like Robin Williams):
1. Wouldn’t they be pissed off that you brought them back?
2. Wouldn’t they want to off themselves again since they decided they didn’t want to live?
What would you do about these issues?
And another thing... what if you brought them back, but they weren’t the same... like what happened to Khal Drogo when he was brought back from the dead on Game of Thrones?
